Shaun White was born on September 3, 1986. To start He had two siblings, Kari and Jessie White. At a very early age, Shaun's talent was noticed by the legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk. Shaun started training under Tony at the age of 9. By 16, he was a professional skateboarder. Shaun started competing at the X Games, and notably, he got every medal since 2000. In 2006 he entered the Winter Olympics and got the gold medal in the half-pipe event. In 2008... Then later Shaun released his own video game named 'Shaun White Snowboarding' on the Wii, which became the 20th best-selling game in the USA. In 2010 Shaun had his second appearance in the Olympics, where he got the gold again. In 2012, he created history by becoming the first-ever snowboarder to score a perfect 100 at the Winter X Games in the men's Snowboard SuperPipe event. However, in the 2014 Winter Olympics, he missed out on the podium finish by a bit, finishing in the fourth position. In 2016... In the 2016 Winter Olympics, he again reclaimed his title by getting the gold medal. Remarkably, he had faced a serious injury leading to 62 stitches on his face, but he still outclassed everyone. His gold medal marked the 100th win for Team USA at the Winter Olympics. So finally Shuan White is 5 ft 8 in tall. His net worth is $65 million. He survived a heart defect that required two operations when he was an infant. Facts Leadership qualities Leadership Courage As a child Shaun White had to have open heart surgeries twice. When competing he had an injury that required stiches in the face. With all that Shaun White had the courage to keep snowboarding and compete in the X games. This demonstrates that we should be courageous and overcome challenges. Hardworking Shaun White has gotten gold medals in the Olympics and in the X games. He works very hard to train for snowboarding. Shaun White has done skiing, snowboarding, and, skateboarding. but he worked for all these thing. Generosity Shaun White made the Shaun White Foundation and used his celebrity status, his money, and power not for evil but for good by helping the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
